Lavender oil induces sleep which has made it a common recommendation for an alternative treatment of insomnia. Frequent studies on elderly patients have shown an increase in their sleep regularity when their normal sleep medication is replaced with some lavender oil being placed on or near their pillows. My gosh, this stuff is great! It helps soothe mind mind and destresses me when I need it most! It's a must have also for making the house smell awesome!
